What is Hospice Care?
With a diagnosis of cardiac disease, pulmonary disease, renal disease, cancer or Alzheimer’s patients can receive hospice care which includes comfort-focused patient care at home or in an assisted living facility rather than traditional hospital treatments.
Salmon Valley Hospice & Home Health helps patients and their families by providing care at their place of residence. Our collaborative approach with the patient’s attending physicians enables us to better understand each person’s needs so we can provide more appropriate services.

We provide equipment to hospice patients including a hospital bed, wheelchair, oxygen machine for breathing ailments, and a walker if the patient needs help walking around their home or outside with it on nice days. We also have bedside commodes and briefs that are delivered directly to them at no cost so they can manage incontinence without having too much of an issue doing this in public spaces. All medications necessary for symptom management related to diagnoses are paid by us as well because we want all our clients’ symptoms managed carefully during what could be very difficult times leading up until death is imminent.
